:confused: Why is it that every thread has nothing in it except some junk about the Vimy Ridge aniversary..
I am sorry, maybe it is not junk, but I don't care to read it, let alone on every single page where I navigate to to actually read something of interrest... like what Garrison has done or said to garner such a thread all to himself, and what is going on with the LVEC...
Maybe I should go read the vimy ridge thing, I am patriotic and someone who completely respects our military... but the point is!!! it isn't about Kingston, and everything else seems to be gone!!!
Maybe I am just loosing it...

Hello,

The KE Calendar and Announcements have a number of items which are automatically brought forward over the the year. The WW I 'Vimy Ridge' item appears in the calendar since it was a pivotal moment in Canadian history. It was of particular note here in Kingston with our long military roots. This item will automatically come off the calendar in a couple of days. This and other announcement messages always appear at the top of the page. You can, of course, skip reading them and go directly to the particular forum thread.

Some newer forums only have one intial item until their is a response to a thread. From time-to-time we do consolidate or archive forums and threads when they become less current, for example, the 2003 municipal election forums.

They'd be awfully old, then...shame they can't smoke in their own Legions though. Guess that wasn't the kind of FREEDOM they fought for.

You are soo correct TerrierGirl about that statement. Awfully old, oh heck it depends. How old is AWFULLY old? I tell my daughter who is 30 she is Old, Me I am AWFULLY old. lol
YOu are right these people who fought for Freedom did want to smoke.

I think they should have that right, even thought I lost my sister because she actually smoked 5 to 6 packs a day.

Just consider these people the first punk rockers, Any punk who gave them trouble got their socks rocked right of them. lol
