Well hey, I said I was going to write in every couple of weeks to give my
opinion on what council has or has not done right. I have had very little
to write! Hello council... what have you been doing? Then again this
could be a good thing. With council and the mayor on the QT I might even
start buying the Whig again to see what else the Whig has blow out of
significance.

I would like to thank the two sons of Kingston that had the big ice show
down on market square. It looked great but the City spent so much time and
effort helping you out the community outdoor rinks fell apart. My kids
will remember watching the hockey players over the March break but they
will won't be able to skate themselves because the ice in the parks will be
gone. I know, they can buy a NHL video or game and watch it on TV. We
know you guys need the money.

I did tune into the TV for the call in show. (COGECO 13) Man, people were
pissed. The Big Cleese was Swiss by the end of the show. There was a rep
of the Harvey fan club who worked on his campaign. She said something to
the effect if Harvey thinks it is not do-able then the LVEC will not
happen. So I guess it just confirms what most people thought that City
Hall is a one man show. The Harvey way or the Highway. Interesting, this
kind of insight shows The Big Cheese is wagging the dog(council). I guess
the rest of council has been fitted with strings and there is more puppets
on council then I thought. The question is who are the puppets on council.
I would like to call the issue to a vote!

We should issue the scissor award to the councillor with the most strings.
Maybe in the future?

Hey Bel Vagus (Belleville) is having a huge party and culture show the
first week of July. They say It will attracted 10's of thousands to the
City. Although it has not made money yet they expect it to in the coming
years. Folks, this is what's called planning. It will not make money
right away but in the future it will. But the City of Belleville 's
council is starting to interfere and it could be scaled back this year.
Sound familiar? Remember Folk Lore? Tall Ships? ah the minus touch of a
council out of touch. Every council should keep an emergency proctolgist
on call just in case they need to recover someone's head from themselves.

I wonder what this Tuesday will bring?

I don't think there is a highway. ;)
