Consultation: Large Venue Entertainment Centre
The special task force created by the Mayor of Kingston to explore the development of a replacement for the aging Memorial Centre held its first meeting Dec. 19, 2003 in an effort to complete its recommendations by April of 2004.
In his Dec. 2 inaugural address, Kingston Mayor Harvey Rosen said one of his goals was to have "a shovel in the ground" for a new Memorial Centre before the end of the current council term.
