Broadcasting Council Meetings on the Web

Hey,
What does everyone think about lobbying City Hall to webcast city council meetings? I think it would be great for council meetings to stream online so Kingstonians (even those abroad) could watch what is going on in council. It wouldn't be an expensive undertaking, and it would compliment council meetings on Cogeco 13 for those who don't have access to the channel.

Any opinions or ideas?

That should not be a problem. Thee is no advertiser revenue. Cogeco could even put it on thier website for downloading. Cable bill is enough as it is
