The following report on possible infrastructure expenditures will be considered by Kingston City Council at its meeting to be held on February 17, 2009.

REPORT NO. 24 OF THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (RECOMMEND)
To the Mayor and Members of Council:
The Chief Administrative Officer reports and recommends as follows:
(1) Candidate Projects for Senior Government Infrastructure Investment
THAT Council endorse the Water Master Plan Upgrades and the John Counter Boulevard Expansion projects as priority shovel-ready infrastructure projects for submission for funding opportunities under the federal government’s Building Canada Fund and the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund; and
THAT staff submit the necessary applications to align the above noted projects with the appropriate funding program and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute any necessary documents.
