To Kick-Start 2009 and mark the half way point of the city council term, there will be a Collins Bay – Bayridge District Meeting this Tuesday January 27th at 7 pm in the gym at Collins Bay Public School.
I will give an update of what is going on in the district and I will email minutes from the meeting to everyone.
Some points that will be covered include:
1) Elmwood update – special resident meeting for the culvert design in late Spring 2009 with construction about 6 weeks later
2) Possible placement of stop signs on some streets in the district if there is petition support
3) Possible speed reduction on Bath Road between Elmwood and Collins Bay Road if there is petition support
4) CNR nighttime ban of the use of train whistles
5) Submitting new streets for traffic calming evaluation
6) Submitting two streets for pedestrian crossing evaluation
7) Street lights and sidewalks along Bath Road update
8) Status of Bayridge Drive and Lincoln Drive – 3 direction traffic light in capital budget for 2011
9) How is the intersection of Bayridge Drive and Hudson Drive working?
Most importantly on Tuesday night, I want to hear from you and what is working/what needs to be fixed. I will take all suggestions and answer any questions. I hope you can make it and if not, I will email a summary of the meeting to my constituent distribution list. You can email or call me at any time with any problems or concerns. Lisa
