Hello everyone,
Please don't forget that the McBurney Park Neighborhood Association's Annual General meeting takes place Monday November 24, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Renaissance Event Venue, 285 Queen St.
The Renaissance is located in the old church next door to Euro Imports car repair shop, just west of Barrie Street. If you're driving, you can park in the back (off Colborne) or in the lot to the west of the building (the parking for the lawyer's offices). Enter through the big glass doors on the west side of the building.
In addition to welcoming our new co-coordinators - I won't spoil the surprise by naming them here – we will review this year's events and accomplishments, and plan what we will take on in the next twelve months. These tasks include getting more playground equipment for the park, planting more trees in the neighborhood, addressing some outstanding traffic concerns, and – this is a big one – seeing if the MPNA can do something to keep the No Frills store up and running.
If you can, please come.
All the best,
Alec
