Portsmouth Oral History – Shops, Shopping and Commercial Activities
An oral history afternoon to remember Shops, Shopping and Commercial Activities in Portsmouth Village from the 1940’s on will be held at 3.00pm on Sunday May 27 in the Parish Centre of Good Thief Church (at the back of the church on Baiden Street). We invite you to attend to tell and hear stories of life in Portsmouth Village over the past fifty years. For further information: Joan Beaton (613) 546-4048) or Mike Sayer (613 531-4853).
The format is informal – a time for long time villagers to share their memories, and for newer residents to ask questions. Please join us to share your memories and interest.
