Memorial Centre Revitalization Community Workshops

A three-day public workshop is being held to gather community input on ideas and potential uses for the Memorial Centre site in sessions planned for Oct. 18, 20 and 21.

The purpose of the workshop is to obtain a common understanding of the fundamental principles that will direct the revitalized Memorial Centre concept and identify key opportunities for improvements to the site. It is being hosted by the City of Kingston culture and recreation department in partnership with Hughes Downey Architects; the Planning Partnership and Brad Johnson and Associates.

Consultants and staff are looking for extensive community input for preparation of a concept plan for the site. If you have an interest in the site and/or are knowledgeable about its functions, past and present, please come out to sessions planned for:
