SURVEY
The City of Kingston is conducting a public consultation on the Multiplex Community Centre. As part of this consultation, three surveys have been created and are attached to this email in Excel (.xls )format. The three surveys are on ice usage for organizations, ice usage for individuals, and on pool usage.
The surveys are intended to better understand the current uses of existing facilities and what residents want to see in the new facility. Users are being asked to provide information regarding their use of current ice and pool facilities, how they travel to those facilities, and the importance of certain amenities in those facilities, such as the size of change rooms and adjacent services. Users are also asked to rate the importance of proposed additional amenities at the proposed Multiplex such as the addition of an Olympic size ice pad, sports injury clinic and pro shop.
RESPONSE TO SURVEY
There are several ways of responding to the surveys. The Excel files can be:
1. Filled out electronically and emailed to CHannaford@cityofkingston.ca
2. Printed, filled out and faxed to 542-1332 attention: Christine Hannaford
3. Printed, filled out and mailed to Christine Hannaford (see address below)
4. If you do not have the Excel (.xls) program, the surveys are available on the City website in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format at www.cityofkingston.ca/multiplex (http://www.cityofkingston.ca/multiplex). You can print them, fill them out and mail them (see address below) or fax them (542-1332) to Christine Hannaford
As the intent of the survey is to garner public opinion; please limit your response to one per person per survey.

The Multiplex Steering Committee will also receive input from residents at a public open house on Wednesday March 29 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.
Please let your neighbours know as I may not have their email address.
