I am not sure if you folks know this - but infact with (all) the yuppies moving in here and "gentrifying" the area (sp). The tradgically not so hip semi sold for $ 320,000.

The people who use to live here are being "pushed out" to less expensive areas of town.

Next we will be seeing Cadillac's and Sab's in the driveways.

Great for inflated house price/ and taxes. Bad for marginalised residences.

Way to go McBurney Park Association!

The City / PUC are upgrading the sewers and street infastructure for Alma St. and Balaclava...

Thank you Mayor Rosen & Kingston taxpayers!

P.S - Its only taken 50 years to make it happen!

(Where were the taxation funds, constituents and council then ?????)

P.S.S - The fence stops the cars parking (in) the park, and the soccer balls can use it as a net!

Hum, Only 50 Years. lol lol.

Gee I guess the City does work fast.

I'm sorry that goes to show you that money has been mismanged for the past 50 years not just the last 6 years that Mayor Harven Rosen has been a Mayor. Also that This council is actually finally doing something for the people.

I agree - the Memorial Centre Revitalization of $32- $45 million will certainly be this councils legacy of delaying your streets repair for another 50 years!
